Booking Conditions

Please fill in a booking form as soon as possible to secure your stay at Il Querceto. (You will find the link to the booking form at the end of these conditions) . We look forward to welcoming you to Il Querceto in 2008 /9 and will do everything possible to ensure that your stay at our farmhouse in this beautiful and peaceful area of Italy is perfect.

The booking form must be completed in full and accurately for our own insurance purposes. We only allow extra persons by prior arrangement, and there will be a £50 laundry/services charge per person per week. We make a reduction of £100 per room per week, for under occupancy. We are sorry that pets cannot be accommodated and camping is not allowed on the premises.

Included in price: A welcome pack of food and drinks; all facilities at the house; end of stay cleaning, electricity, gas, hot water, one weeks supply of bed linen and bathroom towels. Guests staying two weeks will have a change of linen and the house will be cleaned after one week (the middle Friday of your stay).

Please bring your own pool towels, damaged house towels will be charged for.

Security Deposit: A security charge of £250 will be added to your final bill. This will be returned to you two weeks after your stay, when the property has been checked for damage and breakages and the key has been returned. If the property, especially the kitchen and bathrooms are not left in a reasonable state and so require extra cleaning, this cost will be deducted from the security deposit.

Cancellation: Prior to 8 weeks before departure a full refund will be given, if less than 8 weeks the total cost of the rental is forfeit. (See insurance advice)

Insurance: We strongly recommend that you obtain a full and comprehensive holiday travel insurance to cover medical problems, loss, injury or damage to yourself and your belongings whilst on holiday, also travel delay and holiday cancellation insurance. We accept no liability whatsoever for these events.

Payment: A deposit of £500 per week is required on booking. The remainder, with security deposit, is due 8 weeks prior to your date of arrival at Il Querceto. The owner reserves the right to treat the booking as having been cancelled if full payment is not received 8 weeks prior to the first day of rental.

If we are forced to cancel your booking, due to the actions of a third party or natural disaster, we will refund all monies paid in full. However, please note that compensation will not be paid.

On receipt of the signed booking form and the deposit, your reservation will be confirmed. Receipt of final payment will be acknowledged. Directions, key and an information pack will be sent to you two weeks before your holiday date.
